HOW DO I JOIN?
Simply click ‘Try Free’ to register an account and get started.
You’ll be invited to an onboarding call where our experts provide you with tailored production advice and guide you through uploading your first collection.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
CAN I SUBMIT MY OWN TECH PACKS?
Yes. You can upload your existing tech packs directly.
If you need support, we offer optional tech pack review and refinement services to meet factory-ready standards. You can conduct a self-assessment using our product-ready checklist.
I DON'T HAVE A TECH PACK. CAN YOU HELP?
Absolutely. We can connect you with trusted product development studios and freelancers in our ecosystem.
They offer product development support, including measurement specs, CADs, and material sourcing guidance. Let us know during onboarding if you require this service.
WHAT CAN I PRODUCE THROUGH THE PLATFORM?
RTW (Ready-to-Wear) apparel, accessories and creative merch
At the moment, we specialise in RTW (Ready-to-Wear) apparel including dresses, trousers, tops, outerwear, and knitwear; soft accessories and merch. Custom requests can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

WHAT'S YOUR MOQ (MIN ORDER QUANTITY)?
We are built for low-to-zero inventory production.
Our MOQs vary by category and supplier, but we support as low as 2-20 unit per style.
WHERE ARE YOUR SUPPLIERS BASED?
We work with a global network of trusted suppliers across Europe and Asia.
Each supplier is onboarded and managed by our team to meet ethical, quality, and lead-time standards.
CAN I PRODUCE SUSTAINABLY?
Yes!
Our platform prioritises responsible production with access to deadstock (coming soon), certified organic materials, and ethical manufacturing partners. Let us know your sustainability goals and we’ll help you align with the right suppliers.
FULFILLMENT & LOGISTICS
CAN YOU HANDLE FULFILMENT?
Yes!
We offer end-to-end solutions including labelling, packaging, and direct-to-customer drop-shipping. You can choose your preferred fulfilment model based on your sales channel.
DO YOU OFFER WAREHOUSING?
Yes with our direct-to-customer dropshipping model.
We offer flexible storage and batch fulfilment solutions through our 3PL partners. Let’s discuss your inventory strategy during onboarding.
HOW DO I DECIDE BETWEEN OFFSHORE VS ONSHORE PRODUCTION?
The right choice depends on your goals, timelines, and fulfilment model.
Offshore production often means lower costs and scale, while onshore or nearshore offers faster lead times and agility. At garment by, our platform and expert team help you weigh these trade-offs, blend strategies where needed, and align production with the best fulfilment path for your brand.
PRICING & PAYMENTS
HOW IS PRICING STRUCTURED?
Our commission is a simple, transparent percentage of your order value.
We offer competitive rates against trade agents and other manufacturing tools. You’ll always see pricing upfront—no surprises, no hidden fees.
DO YOU CHARGE A PLATFORM FEE?
It's free to start!
We work on a per-project basis, with optional add-ons for development, packaging, fulfilment, and logistics.
Platform access is free for qualified brands — you can set up your account and receive quotes at no cost. Payment is only required once you commit to your first service.
HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?
Payments are made securely through the platform.
Payment terms vary by order type and supplier. For example, prototyping and sampling require full payment upfront, while batch production typically requires 50% upfront with the balance due before dispatch.
All payment details are clearly shown on your order page before you proceed.

DO YOU OFFER CUSTOMER SUPPORT?
Yes. Each brand is assigned a dedicated account manager to support you throughout the process.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE'S A PRODUCTION ISSUE?
We've got your back!
We apply strict quality control processes and stand behind every order. You can upload your own QC standards and choose QC services directly for each order.
If any defect or issue arises, garment by will facilitate a fair and timely resolution with the supplier.
IS MY IP (INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY) PROTECTED?
Yes!
As a service facilitator, we do not claim any rights to your designs or brand assets. NDAs and IP protection clauses are built into our supplier agreements to ensure your creative work remains yours.
COMPLIANCE
HOW DO YOU HANDLE DATA PRIVACY?
Your data is treated with the utmost confidentiality.
We never share your designs, tech packs, brand information, or production details with third parties without your consent.
All files are stored securely, and our platform complies with UK GDPR and relevant international data protection standards..
WILL MY ORDERS BE COMPLIANT IF I PRODUCE OVERSEAS?
